Just read a moving extract which brought me to tears. It was about inner beauty and love. Inspite of the simplicity of the extract, it was an apt portrayal of reality. A social commentary embedded within those storylines...beautiful indeed. I sometimes wonder if you understand all that. Oh wells.
He bought me a hamster a few days ago. The only thing is that she resides in his home, not mine. The little pet serves as a kind of indescribable bond, something that the both of us share. I liked the way he allowed me to choose the hamster i preferred at the shop, how we took her home together and how we'd go hunting for her whenever she jumped out of her cage. Snippets of memories like these are more than adequate. Thank you. :)
Nostalgia creeps onto me.
I dont feel like revising. The inertia just wont go away... *sigh*

The camp was sheer hell, physically and mentally. I guess I belittled it right from the start. Afterall, having experienced several camps before, I didnt expect this one to be much different. It's worse than OBS. Ha! The pre-camp on Saturday forced me to realise that ever since entering jc life, I've grown into a dependent good-for-nothing. This is a great call for concern. Drats. When the new school term starts, absolutely nobody is to help me return my plate to the stall after lunch. NOBODY. Being spoilt doesnt mean you're fortunate.
Though it was sheer hell, it was nice making new friends and meeting new people. It was really enjoyable and heartwarming to feel the care and concern others can give. For those who are cynical about people relationships, camps are definitely good ways to dispel those negative thoughts. And there's one conclusion I've drawn from this camp: SJI leaders are exceptionally outstanding. They can command respect and attention, they've got charisma, physical and mental strength. Way to go man! :) Special recognition goes to Gaius, for piggy-backing me over such a long distance across Sentosa, after a long tiring walk and run from the campsite. Whoa. He's super power la that guy. Well done Gaius!
I'm a rope and sun burned panda. Hope the rope burns heal quick. I want to bowl! And not forgetting the need to write, in order to mug and sit for the common tests.. :(
YLTC's a fabulous experience. :)
